This week, the current DC discussed about the applications we recieved about some openings in our staff. First of all, i would like to thank everyone that sent us an application. The number of emails i have recieved clearly shows the community is still willing to help out the admins.
We first thought about adding 3-4 new DC members, but since so many trustworthy players applied we've decided to add 6 of them. A bigger DC only means a better and faster service so our choice was clear. The new DC members are:

Welcome to the new staff members, your help is really appreciated and i hope you will all fit in with NATO well. The new DC members will also be added to the match admin staff.

Its actually based on attitude and experience.

Experience usually means tac ops skills.

Experience is needed because if you don't have experience you are not going to have a clue as to how to figure out if someone is cheating. You will have no clue as to what the majority of the rules are. In short you will soon not do anything on the DC because you won't be able to do much.

Attitude is needed because for the most part we don't want someone going into a dispute and as a DC member starting flames and making a dispute a flame war.

The only way we know if you have experience or the correct attitude is if we know you. If we don't know you then we probably are not willing to take the risk of adding an 'unknown' to the DC.

So if you want to get tecnical it is based on popularity and skills. If you have 'legit' skills its almost a given that you can pick out a cheater. I say Almost but some can't and some can. Those with experience are 100x more likely to pick out a cheater than someone without experience.

Also popularity plays in as to.... we like you... everyone else in the community likes you...... thus hopefully you would try to be unbiased. Doesn't always work that way but its hopeful that it would. Those who are unliked are usually those who are fairly immature and act that way all the time.

LOL rogue do u even read your post you said people that everyone likes and dont flame sharp is the #2 hated person on TO second to glacius and also he flames more than anyone else in the game GG nato to bad its gonna die it was good while it lasted.

@ image. Yes sharp can and usually is a dick. However, he is a veteran and has been at TO for a very long time. He knows what skill is compared to the downloaded version. I don't think NATO will have any problems with the selected members as I'm sure they will all do their best to be unbias and get the job done.

ethanhunt and neffrus were also considered among the biggest flammers of nato.. doesnt mean they didnt do a good job in the DC. I talked about trustworthy people in my first post, thats the part you don't understand. When you become a DC you get access to all sorts of stuff; FTP access (all the NATO files are on it), warpix validator, IP database, etc. Thats why our first criteria is to be trustworthy. Sharp may not be very liked by the community, but he has our trust and we're pretty sure he'll make a good job. If he don't, he'll be removed just like any other DC would get removed for the same reasons.
